Keisha Zulfer is a master’s level therapy Intern at Wellness and Relational Institute. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s in science with a psychology minor. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University.

Keisha has dedicated her life to empowering others and inspiring her community for change. She knows firsthand that making the decision to begin therapy is the biggest leap in the step toward growth. Keisha is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and trauma informed. She is committed to making a safe space leading with compassion, curiosity, and creativity to guide clients toward healthier dynamics with family, loved ones, and their true self.

Her therapeutic lens is filtered through feminist theory and Bowenian theory (an intergenerational approach to healing) as well as integrating IFS, CBT, and mindfulness. She is interested in working with couples, families, and individuals who have experienced IPV or childhood trauma, individuals or families impacted by substance abuse, as well as individuals who are looking to feel more empowered and less anxious or depressed in their daily life.

When not studying or providing therapy, Keisha enjoys going on hikes with her family, painting, cooking, or gardening.
