Kim is passionate about mental health care. After working as a bachelor's level social worker for 15 years, she transitioned into the administrative side of things. Her work in community mental health provided her unique insight into not only the importance of mental health care, but also some of the obstacles people face when trying to access it.
As she is often the initial point of contact for new clients seeking to begin a therapeutic journey, she understands that the first step of reaching out can sometimes feel overwhelming and even frightening. She strives to create a warm, welcoming, & accepting environment for everyone who reaches out to start on a path of healing through therapy.
Driven by a desire to help, she is focused on making the process of beginning therapy as easy as possible while also assisting the clinicians at Wellness with the behind-the-scenes administrative duties so they may keep their focus on what is most important - the clients. Kim truly is “happy to help”.
