Tonya Robbins, LMFT, MBA is a psychotherapist specializing in individual & relational therapy, & Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy.

 

As Founder of Wellness & Relational Institute, PLLC, a private practice in both Franklin & Mount Juliet, TN, Tonya facilitates the overarching goal of the practice, which is serving people in their journey toward self-discovery, self-acceptance, development or betterment of relationships, & healing. As founder, clinical director & an AAMFT approved supervisor, Tonya oversees & works closely with each of our therapists.

Tonya is passionate about relationships, including one’s relationship with oneself. Her approach to therapy targets a shift in one's view of self as well as self within relationships. As a therapist, Tonya’s goal is to empower her clients to take charge of their mental health & their reactions to life's stressors, developing preventative techniques that allow them to freely live their authentic lives. Tonya offers affirming, culturally-competent therapy & is sensitive to the unique needs of each individual & relationship, regardless of the issues bringing them to therapy. Her model is holistic, considering the mind, body, & spirit.

Tonya’s primary areas of focus include: psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (for couples & individuals), relational therapy, sex/kink therapy, pre-marital therapy, women's issues, & trauma. She is trained in EMDR, Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT), CBT, TF-CBT, EFT, Experiential, Narrative, Enneagram, & pre-marital program. She also offers Prepare/Enrich assessments & is a TN Rule 31-Eligible Mediator.

 

In addition to her clinical work, Tonya provides supervision to clinical intern MFT therapists as well as pre-licensed professional Marital & Family Therapists as well as being active in professional advocacy for MFTs. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, knitting, decorating, & spending time with her family.
